Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles, who totaled nearly 2,000 yards from scrimmage this season, left his team’s wild-card game against the Colts after just three carries with a concussion. The team initially announced Charles was questionable to return while he underwent evaluation in the locker room, then downgraded him to an “out” status.

Charles appeared to slam his head into the turf after being tackled by the Colts’ 332-pound defensive tackle Jeris Pendleton. Kansas City’s star stayed down, relatively immobile after the hit, then walked to the locker room after meeting with trainers.

Charles rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown and caught five passes in the Chiefs’ earlier meeting with the Colts. He was replaced in the lineup by Knile Davis, the rookie running back who later left the game with an injury of his own.

It's the playoffs, they should have let him play through this.

Either Luck is that good or the Chiefs defense played poorly. Hilton was wide open all day and single covered and should have been doubled since he is their best receiver. Blame the coach. Here we go again Kansas, get ready to go through what the eagles did for years, always the bridemaids never the ..................

Boy this game looks like a college game the way the NFL is set up you would almost be dumb not to set up your team for offense, this looks like a overpaid bowl game

Watching this game it looks same old  Andy Reid like it's going to be Chiefs like Eagle's close but no Championships, 38-10 in the second half and you lose, not good
