Jay Cutler annoyed by Bears fans’ booing
Jay Cutler’s touch-and-go relationship with the Chicago fans hit another rough patch Sunday. Cutler turned the ball over three times in the first half against the Panthers (two fumbles, one INT) and the Bears were roundly booed as they headed off the field at halftime down 13-7 in an eventual 23-22 victory.
Cutler, uh, did not take it well (Warning: potentially NSFW language below).

Without audio, we’re left to try to lip read Cutler’s reaction there. One take:
Twitter crowd-sourced consensus is that #Cutler said “These f—ing fans, I swear to god.”#Bears

Cutler’s not immune to hearing boos at home, though it’s a definite 180 from Chicago’s last game. During a Week 7 Monday nighter at home, Cutler shook off a vicious hit from Ndamukong Suh to stay in the game and lead the Bears to an important victory. The crowd saluted Cutler several times in that one, including when he returned to the field following that sack.
The game’s result also helped mend some fences — Cutler led a fourth-quarter TD drive, finishing it off with a pass to Kellen Davis, and later took the Bears into range for a game-winning field goal.
It’s worth mentioning, too, that Cutler’s counterpart Sunday was Carolina’s Cam Newton — he’s dealt with a fair share of criticism over his body language and his performances, both on the field and in postgame press conferences.
You're going down Cutler wait until the Vikings come to Town!
Skol Vikings
Again something out of nothing, Cutler said he knew they messed up. I would be upset if booed as well, how can he help the sacks?
I love Jay as most Bear fans do.....get off his back it's getting old. I love his spark, attitude and how much passion he has for winning and HE IS A WINNER 12-1 in last 13. Cutty is the man.......
Suck it up, Cutler. We didn't like you and your attitude here in Denver. Now, Chicago (and, probably, most of your teammates) are getting the same feeling. Tired of your BS.
@mobetta@ na we love him he just needs less than 5 sacks a game to be happy any qb would dip stick
I've lived in the Chicago area for over half a century and was delighted when the networks started broadcasting other teams’ games in Chicago, teams that were fun to watch. Dan Fouts, Kellen Winslow, Lance Alworth, Barry Sanders, Dan Marino, Fred Biletnikoff, Don Maynard and others were the exciting type of offensive players the Bears always lacked. I wanted finesse teams and the Bears played a not very intelligent game in the black-and-blue division. Boring. Now, finally, they have a capable QB. But he's more demonstrative than other leaders when his O-line doesn't give him time to focus on his receivers. He needs all his faculties if he is to avoid interceptions and achieve a high completion rate. He is getting beat up, just as do many other QBs. Yet he's more vocal about it. I don't blame him. If he is to function capably, he needs better protection.
can't blame bear's fans honestly. Year after year their offense does NOT improve and they STILL rely way to heavily on their defense and speical teams to score points to pick up their usually woeful offense. I'm a packers fan anyway and I hate the bears and their "lucky" wins but as a fan of football, I definitly get the frustration.
@KevinAbraham
Oh really Kevin, They have a Oline that blows. You have a team that went 15 and DONE. Your team rated so high is under-acheving and in 3rd place. I cant understand your frustration when you go to bears threads to post your rah rah packers garbage. Worry about your own team, you have enough crow to swallow with all the smack packers fans talk. Your great team blows!
@patrick g @KevinAbraham When was the last time the Bears won a Superbowl?
Oh, right.
Jay's a PONK
Dumbest / most useless article ever ... and Bernstein is a Dookie troll.
What's the big deal? The Bears fans at Soldier Field can be pretty stupid sometimes. They STILL don't know to keep their mouths shut when the home team is in the red zone, and seem to cause more time outs than any other home crowd.
he should be unhappy,,,after playing like he does,,bears r so blessed ,,,thay need some 1,,just 2 show them,,lol,,,haaaaaaaaa
who cares, interviewed after the game Jay said "they should have booed us". Report that please. Useless
I'm pretty sure that the fans are irked by Cutler too.
I could care less about what Cutler thinks of his fans, just throw touchdowns and keep your mouth shut! You're already the second most hated player in all of NFL.
Go Bears!
@Dino N he hus most licked,,love to have him here..thay r so lucky to have him,,blessed is the word..
@kentwilliams45 @Dino N Uhhhh...what?
@Kevin d @kentwilliams45 @Dino N
I THINK he is saying that his team's QB situation is so bad that Cutler would be an improvement?? I dunno lol.
